The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP)

Offers up to $2,500 in free efficient lighting upgrades through their Small Business Direct Install (SBDI) Program. Small businesses on rate schedule A1 are eligible to participate in the SBDI program and receive energy saving lighting system upgrades for equipment, such as fluorescent lighting and energy efficient exit signs.

We have serviced over 4000 (and ocunting) small businesses in the City of Los Angeles, under this program.

Our SBDI Program Representative will visit the small business and conduct an on-site lighting assessment to help identify energy saving opportunities. Once the business has agreed to the energy plan, licensed professionals will retrofit the building with new, energy efficient lighting. The old equipment will also be removed and recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.

If the business chooses to install lighting improvements beyond the SBDI Program limit, the cost will be at the same low rate per fixture and the business may also qualify for additional rebates from LADWP.

The Fox Plaza
Considered the most important building erected in Century City since it's inception, the Fox Plaza is an imposing force in the area's mini-skyline. Its 34-stories hold over 900,000 square feet of office space on Twentieth Century Fox property. Former U.S. President Ronald Reagan occupied a penthouse on the 34th floor for several years. Fox Plaza was the building centerstage in the 1988 movie "Die Hard". Pacific Lighting retrofitted the lighting in the buildings in this building resulting in saving of nearly 550 kiloWatts, saving well over $410,000 annually in electricity alone. Additional savings were made possible in the cooling costs as the more efficient lamps generated less heat to be removed by A/C.

La Jolla Gateway is an award-winning office complex located at the entrance to the beautiful town of LaJolla town North of San Diego. These high-rise sculptured office buildings total nearly 352,000 square feet. Additional savings were made possible as the cooling load is reduced.
